EyeC will present its high-speed print inspection systems at Print4All 2018 in Milan (Italy) from May 29th to June 1st. The company’s inspection systems support the most modern processes and ensure print quality throughout the entire production process.
At Booth M07 in Hall 18 EyeC will demonstrate together with its local partner, Endeavour, the high performance system EyeC Proofiler 1200 DT for checking medium format print samples. The flatbed scanner of the inspection system ensures easy and safe sample handling of even large press sheets or thin leaflets. Moreover, the system delivers pinpoint inspection results at twice the speed of competitive solutions. It scans and analyzes a combo job on a typical press sheet (1060 x 750 mm) in less than two minutes. The EyeC Proofiler 1200 DT performs a comprehensive quality check of printed materials such as sheets, leaflets, flexible packaging, labels or folding cartons against a signed-off PDF file or printed proof. It verifies all texts, graphics, colors, Braille as well as 1D or 2D codes in just one inspection cycle. Due to its intelligent algorithm, the EyeC system displays only the relevant deviations on a user-friendly interface, so the user can perform a comfortable and efficient quality check.
Furthermore, EyeC will present its pre-press proofing software, EyeC Proofiler Graphic. The system checks print-ready PDFs against the approved artwork in just a few seconds and pinpoints all potential differences between files with great precision. With the EyeC Workflow Integration, the proofing system can even be integrated into workflow systems such as Esko Automation Engine and performs the verification automatically. With the EyeC Workflow Integration, the workflow system automatically activates the inspection process. The EyeC Proofiler Graphic retrieves the order data as well as inspection parameters of the respective job from the workflow system. It then automatically inspects the entire contents of the PDF file against one or more approved files and then reports the inspection results back to the workflow system.
